The Chicago forward now owns the longest point streak by an American-born player.
Patrick Kane continued his hot start to the 2015-16 season on Saturday night.
The 27-year-old opened the scoring at 11:10 of the first period in L.A. for his 14th goal of the season.
With the goal, Kane extended his streak to 19 games and now owns the longest point streak by an American-born player passing Phil Kessel and Ed Olczyk.
Kane also tied Denis Savard (1985-86) for second-longest streak in Chicago history. Bobby Hull had a 21-game streak.

Wayne Gretzky owns the longest point streak in NHL history (51games) set during the 1983–84 season.
Kane now has 11 goals and 19 assists during the steak.
