Get ready for Halloween by watching the Lightning’s Jason Garrison and Alex Killorn nearly jump out of their shoes while walking through a haunted house. Killorn’s reactions are the best, as he seems ready to sprint for the exit at any moment.
To get prepared for Halloween, Garrison and Killorn attended the Howl-O-Scream haunted house at Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay. To say they enjoyed their experience wouldn’t be the right way to put it, but if it was fright they were after, they got their money’s worth — especially Killorn.
The way Killorn is shuffling back and forth before even entering the haunted house might tell you all you need to know about how he feels about what he’s about to experience:
Killorn’s reaction walking into the haunted house is enough to make you feel bad for him and proof that even 6-foot-2, 193-pound professional hockey players can be frightened by some fake ghouls and goblins popping out of walls.
While it doesn’t go on too long, the video is hilarious. Killorn goes from hesitant to even enter the first room of the house to nearly jumping out of his shoes following a high-pitched scream all in the span of 10 seconds. In almost every shot, Killorn is lunging backwards and protecting himself from something jumping out.
The Lightning duo made it out of the house without too much trouble, though, and looked no worse for wear when they came out the other side. Now that that’s over, Killorn can go back to doing things that aren’t quite as scary, like blocking 100mph slapshots on a nightly basis.
