Wright, Jarrett and Munro named to Canadian roster for upcoming tourneys

Goaltender Nolan McDonald, defenceman Jame Pollock and forward Yves Sarault were also included on both Canadian rosters Wednesday.

Sean Simpson of Brampton, Ont., who coaches EV Zug in the Swiss League, will be behind the bench for Canada at the Swiss Challenge in Zurich on Nov. 7. The game against the Swiss national team will serve as an evaluation for the Spengler Cup, which will be played in Davos, Switzerland, in December.

Ron Kennedy of North Battleford, Sask., will coach defending-champion Canada at the Deutschland Cup from Nov. 9-12 in Hannover, Germany. The six holdovers will be joined by 18 other players, who mostly play in the German Elite League for the six-team event. Among them are Steve and Martin Kariya, brothers of Nashville Predators forward Paul Kariya.
