Zetterberg, Red Wings face Wild seeking third win in a row

Detroit (39-12-8) at Minnesota (28-24-4), 8:00 pm EST

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) — Henrik Zetterberg and the
Detroit Red Wings aim for their third consecutive victory
Saturday when they visit the slumping Minnesota Wild.

Zetterberg scored a goal and set up two others, leading the Red
Wings to a 5-2 triumph over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday in a
meeting between the last two Stanley Cup winners.

His linemate, All-Star Pavel Datsyuk, recorded a goal and an
assist for the defending champions, who have won eight of their
last 10 contests.

“I think we had a good game,” said Zetterberg, who has recorded
five points over the two-game winning streak. “We got off to a
good start. It’s a good mix on our line.”

The Wild are coming off a 3-2 overtime setback to the Calgary
Flames on Thursday. Dan Fritsche and Colton Gillies had the
goals for Minnesota, which has dropped three straight games for
the first time in 2009.

Sitting in 10th place in the Western Conference, the Wild are
two points out of the final playoff spot.
