Atlanta Thrashers re-sign RFA forward Colby Armstrong

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Thrashers have agreed to a new deal with restricted free agent forward Colby Armstrong, one day after the team announced it has re-signed goalie Kari Lehtonen.

Armstrong, 26, matched his career high with 40 points while playing in all 82 games for the Thrashers last season. He set a career high with 22 goals. The right wing has 51 points (26 goals, 25 assists) in 100 games over two seasons with the Thrashers.

He began his NHL career with Pittsburgh, where he recorded one assist in five Stanley Cup Playoff games.
