Avalanche-Blues game in St. Louis postponed because of severe weather

ST. LOUIS - The NHL game in St. Louis between the Colorado Avalanche and Blues scheduled for Tuesday night has been postponed because of severe weather conditions.

The Blues say the NHL will determine a makeup date. The game would have been the first since the all-star break for both teams.

Missouri has been hit hard by potentially the worst winter storm in decades, and the city was socked in by a mix of snow, freezing rain and dangerously cold temperatures.
