DENVER - Avalanche forward Milan Hejduk will miss Colorado's game against the Calgary Flames with a knee injury.
The team also will be without right wing Marek Svatos, who is hampered by a groin injury.
Avalanche coach Joe Sacco said Sunday morning that both players are day-to-day. The Avalanche play again Tuesday against Washington.
Hejduk has missed five games this season, two due to a balky back and three more with a knee ailment. He is tied for the team lead with 12 goals.
