NEW YORK, N.Y. - Colorado Avalanche forward Chuck Kobasew was fined $2,500 by the NHL on Sunday for charging Vancouver defenceman Aaron Rome on Saturday night.
Kobasew received a minor penalty for charging on the first-period hit in Colorado's 3-2 overtime loss.
