Avs F Hejduk to return against Wings after missing 7 games with groin injury
DENVER - Colorado Avalanche forward Milan Hejduk will return to the lineup Monday night against the Detroit Red Wings after missing seven games with a groin injury.
Hejduk remains one of the team's leading scorers with 11 goals and 20 assists. He is expected to play on a line with Matt Duchene, who leads the Avs in scoring with 34 points.
Colorado also will have forward Cody McLeod back after sitting out three games with a groin injury. Avs coach Joe Sacco said Jonas Holos, Brandon Yip and David Koci would be healthy scratches.
