Avs forward Hejduk out for Game 6 against Sharks, Peter Mueller doubtful

DENVER - Colorado Avalanche coach Joe Sacco says forward Milan Hejduk will miss Game 6 against the San Jose Sharks with an upper-body injury.

Hejduk has been out since colliding with teammate Paul Stastny as they drifted into the Sharks' zone in Sunday's 1-0 overtime win.

Forward Peter Mueller resumed light skating Friday, but Sacco said he's still "doubtful" for the game Saturday night. Mueller hasn't played since taking a hit along the boards against the Sharks on April 4.

The Sharks beat Colorado 5-0 on Thursday night to take a 3-2 lead in the series. With two of their offensive threats sidelined, the Avalanche have struggled to score.
