Azevedo scores in overtime, Monarchs get back in AHL East final with 3-2 win

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Justin Azevedo scored in overtime as the Manchester Monarchs beat the Hershey Bears 3-2 in American Hockey League playoff action Monday.

Trailing 2-0, the Monarchs scored three straight goals to cut Hershey's lead in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference final to 2-1.

John Zeiler and Gabe Gauthier also scored for Manchester.

Alexandre Giroux and Mathieu Perreault replied for Hershey.

Jonathan Bernier made 23 saves for Manchester while Michal Neuvirth stopped 37 shots for Hershey.

Game 4 is Tuesday in Manchester.
