Belarus has advanced to the top division of the World Junior Championship for 2023.

Belarus had a perfect run at the Division IA, winning all five games, including a 3-2 win over Norway at Bitcoin Arena on Saturday.

Alexander Suvorov led the way with 11 points. Four of the top five scorers from the tournament were on Belarus.

Belarus last played in the top division in 2018 in Buffalo. Belarus will replace the team that loses the relegation round in Alberta in January.
