Blackhawks hope to generate sparks against Coyotes

Chicago (7-4-5) at Phoenix (8-8-0), 9:30 pm EST

GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) -- The Chicago Blackhawks look to end

a three-game winless streak when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes

on Tuesday.

After netting 12 total goals in back-to-back blowout victories

over the Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames, the Blackhawks

were burned in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Boston Bruins on

Wednesday. Then they fell in a 4-3 overtime bout against the

St. Louis Blues and fizzled again in a 6-5 edging to the San

Jose Sharks on Sunday.

Chicago, which begins a six-game road trip in this contest, does

not play again at home until December 3.

The Coyotes have dropped two straight and have been outscored

7-2 in that span against the Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars.

Prior to that skid, they won four of five and the only blemish

came in a 1-0 loss at Vancouver on November 6.

The Coyotes have registered three or less tallies in 10 of 16

games this season. However, they have received consistent

production from captain Shane Doan, who has five goals and eight

assists in his last 10 contests.
