Blackhawks look to continue success against Coyotes

Phoenix (12-12-2) at Chicago (11-6-7), 7:00 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Blackhawks will attempt to beat

the Phoenix Coyotes for the fifth straight time on Sunday.

The Blackhawks have already defeated the Coyotes twice this

season and have not lost to them since January 3. In their most

recent meeting, Chicago pulled out a 3-2 shootout victory.

The bonus format was not so kind to the Blackhawks on Saturday,

when they squandered a two-goal lead and lost to the Red Wings,

5-4, in a shootout.

Jonathan Toews had two goals in regulation, but - along with

Patrick Sharp and Patrick Kane, failed on his attempt in the

bonus format. The 20-year-old has three goals and four points

over his last two games.

Phoenix failed to record its third straight win Saturday,

suffering a 4-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues. The Coyotes have

still won four of their last six contests.

A goaltending controversy may be brewing in Phoenix as Mikael

Tellqvist continues to outperform Ilya Bryzgalov in his limited

opportunities. Tellqvist is 4-2-1 with a 2.24 goals-against

average and .930 save percentage.

Bryzgalov has posted an 8-9-1 mark with a 2.70 GAA and .912 save
