Blue Jackets activate centre Andrew Murray after he misses first 12 games

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Columbus Blue Jackets centre Andrew Murray has been activated off injured reserve.

General manager Scott Howson announced the move Saturday.

Murray sprained a knee during a pre-season game Oct. 1 at Washington and had missed the season's first 12 games.

Murray has 19 goals, nine assists and 28 penalty minutes in 152 career games with the Blue Jackets.
