Blue Jackets trade Pineault to Blackhawks for left-wing Blunden

COLUMBUS - The Columbus Blue Jackets acquired left-wing Mike Blunden from the Chicago Blackhawks in a trade Saturday for right-wing Adam Pineault.

The Blue Jackets assigned Blunden to their AHL affiliate in Syracuse.

The 22-year-old has tallied three goals and seven assists in 37 games with the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate this season. He was drafted into the NHL in 2005.
