Blue Jackets wrap up three-game trip through California

Columbus (11-12-3) at Anaheim (14-10-3), 8:00 pm EST

ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Columbus Blue Jackets hope

their third stop in California goes better than the first two.

The Blue Jackets will try to avoid a third straight loss when

they complete a three-game road trip against the Anaheim Ducks

on Sunday.

Columbus was handed a 3-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on

Saturday after falling to the San Jose Sharks, 3-2, on Thursday.

Rick Nash continues to be the offensive force for the Blue

Jackets, who drafted the three-time All-Star first overall in

2002. He leads the club with 13 goals and 24 points.

The Ducks are also trying to avoid a third consecutive defeat

after losing to the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks on

the road. Anaheim allowed three goals in the final six minutes

of Wednesday's 4-2 setback to the Blackhawks.

Before the back-to-back losses, the Ducks had won four straight

Anaheim, which is 7-6-2 at home, will play four of its next five

games at "The Pond."
