Boyd scores in overtime as Bulldogs rally for 3-2 win over Texas Stars
CEDAR PARK, Texas - Dustin Boyd scored in overtime to give the Hamilton Bulldogs a 3-2 comeback win over the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League on Saturday night.
Texas had a 2-0 lead at the midway mark of the third period on goals by Travis Morin and Aaron Gagnon, when Hamilton's J.T. Wyman scored at 13:33 to cut the lead in half.
Three minutes later Kyle Klubertanz tied the game with a power-play marker, his third of the season.
Curtis Sanford stopped 31 of 33 shots for the Bulldogs (18-8-4). Richard Bachman made 30 saves at the other end for Texas (17-12-2).
