Earlier this season during a Montreal Canadiens practice, P.K. Subban tried his hand at taking on Brandon Prust in a one-on-one bout. The resulting “fight” was somewhat one-sided, with Prust getting the upper hand early.
It seems as though Subban hasn’t learned his lesson, though, as during Monday’s practice he did his best to take down Montreal’s tough guy. His best was not good enough, and that’s putting it lightly. Watch as Prust pretty much ragdolls Subban around the ice:
Not only does Prust school Subban in the art of the takedown, he also jerseys him for a solid 30 seconds before turning Subban’s entire getup inside out. That’s the atomic wedgie of jerseying. One Canadiens player – it appears to be Nathan Beaulieu – also adds a bit of insult to, well, more insult by throwing a bit of snow on Subban.
The Canadiens have lost back-to-back games, but it doesn’t appear the team is having any problems staying loose. They’re back in action Wednesday night when they head to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets.
