Brandon Smith's overtime goal gives Amerks 5-4 win over Marlies

Rob Globke, Kamil Kreps, Anthony Stewart and Marek Zagrapan also scored for the Amerks, 16-2-1.

Ben Ondrus scored two power-play goals for the Marlies, 7-10-3, while forwards Erik Westrum and John Mitchell added one goal each in front of 2,877 spectators at Ricoh Coliseum. Kris Newbury had two assists.

Craig Anderson stopped 33 shots for the goaltending win, while Justin Pogge made 35 saves for the Marlies.

Toronto was 2-for-4 and Rochester 0-for-4 on power plays.

The Marlies led 2-1 after one period and 3-2 after two.

Toronto's next game is at home Wednesday against the Milwaukee Admirals.
