Brathwaite stops 37 shots as Wolves edge Bulldogs 1-0, stave elimination

Veteran goaltender Fred Brathwaite stopped all 37 shots he faced and Niko Dimitrakos scored on the power play as the Wolves beat the Dogs 1-0 at Copps Coliseum to stave off elimination in their best-of-seven American Hockey League Western Conference final.

The Dogs still lead the series 3-1 and can move on to the final with a win Saturday at Copps. If the Wolves win again, the series would go back to Chicago for Game 6, and if necessary Game 7 on Monday and Wednesday.
