Must see: Brian Gibbons scores beautiful goal on great individual effort
At the NHL level, Pittsburgh’s Brian Gibbons scored five goals and 17 points in 41 regular season games and followed it up with three points in eight Stanley Cup playoff games.
In the American League, Gibbons scores at a more star rate. In 28 games this season, Gibbons equaled his 70-game total from a year ago with 30 points. He’s played four post-season games for Wilkes-Barre Scranton now and his first goal last night was, well, a thing of beauty.
This was part of a five-goal second period for the Penguins, who won the game 5-4 and took the series over Providence 4-3.
Look at this individual effort and the patience to stay onside.
