Brian Willsie scores twice as Monsters drop Heat 3-2

CLEVELAND - Brian Willsie scored his second of the night with just over three minutes left in the third as the Erie Monsters beat the Abbotsford Heat 3-2 in American Hockey League play Saturday.

T.J. Hensick had the other goal for Lake Erie (30-32-7), while John Grahame 35 saves to get the win.

Olivier Latendresse and Radek Smolenak replied for Abbotsford (34-25-10).

Heat netminder David Shantz allowed two goals on six shots before being replaced by Leland Irving at 14:24 of the first.

Irving finished with 16 saves.
