    ROCHESTER, N.Y. - David Brine had two goals for the Rochester Americans in a 4-1 home victory over the Toronto Marlies in AHL action Saturday.

    Alexander Salak made 24 saves for the Americans (11-1-1), who have won two straight at home.

    Todd Perry opened the scoring with his first of the season for the Marlies (6-4-2), who had their three-game winning streak snapped.

    Ernie Hartlieb evened it for Rochester at 7:20 of the first.

    Micheal Duco put the Americans ahead 2-1 in the second on the power play before Brine collected his sixth of the year in the same period, then added an empty-netter with seven second left to play.

    Recent Toronto Maple Leafs callup Joey MacDonald stopped 27 of the 30 shots he faced.
