Boston (10-3-3) at NY Rangers (12-5-2) 7:00 pm. EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The Boston Bruins aim for a sixth straight

win on Saturday when they visit the Eastern Conference-leading

    New York Rangers.

Boston, which is playing its third game in four nights, is

coming off a 6-1 thrashing of Montreal on Thursday. Stephane

Yelle and Marco Sturm each scored twice as the Bruins snapped an

eight-game losing streak to the Canadiens.

It seems a day off may be the only thing that can slow Boston,

which has won five straight for the first time since February

19-March 1. The Bruins will try to avenge a 1-0 shootout loss

at Madison Square Garden in their last meeting on March 9.

Shootouts are a common theme in this series of late, as four of

the last five meetings have gone to the extra session.

Meanwhile, the Rangers bounced back from an overtime loss to

Nashville by tying a season-high for goals in a 5-2 win over New

Jersey on Wednesday. Michal Rozsival, Nikolai Zherdev, Chris

Drury and Lauri Korpikoski all tallied in the second period.

New York may be without center Scott Gomez, who missed

Wednesday's game with a leg injury. Gomez is second on the team

    with 13 points.
