Buffalo Sabres centre Tim Connolly misses practice, expects to play
Coach Lindy Ruff said Connolly was allowed to rest a day after he left practice early with a sore hamstring.
Connolly, Buffalo's fourth-line centre, had three assists in helping the Sabres eliminate the New York Islanders in a five-game first-round series. Connolly missed all but the final two games of the regular season because of post-concussion symptoms and a knee injury.
