Buffalo Sabres re-sign defenceman Mike Weber to multi-year contract.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed defenceman Mike Weber to a multi-year contract.

Weber played in 58 games last season and finished with four goals, 13 assists and 17 points, all career highs.

He played in all seven games of Buffalo's first-round playoff series against Philadelphia.

Weber was selected by Buffalo in the second round of the 2006 entry draft.
