Burrows to blame

Pat Moules, Kitchener, Ont.

Alex Burrows has nobody to blame but himself. He claims referee Stephane Auger intentionally made payback calls against him in a game recently. Can you blame him? Burrows played up a hit from behind so that his team could get a five-minute power play and made a fool of Auger.

So, this time around Auger taught Burrows what payback feels like. You don't show up an official.

In baseball, if you look sideways at an umpire he'll toss you from the game. That's what Auger should have done to Burrows.

The next time Burrows tries to milk an injury again, maybe he'll consider the possible ramifications of his actions.

Burrows got what he deserved!
