C Michal Handzus returns to Blackhawks lineup against Ducks after illness

CHICAGO - Blackhawks centre Michal Handzus is set to play against the Anaheim Ducks after missing two games with an illness.

The 36-year-old Handzus was sidelined by an upper-body injury earlier in the season. He has one goal and three assists in 13 games.

While Handzus is ready to return, forwards Andrew Shaw and Bryan Bickell have been ruled out for Friday night's game. Shaw (upper body) could return as soon as Sunday against Florida, while Bickell (lower body) is expected to begin skating again in the next week.

Rookie goaltender Antti Raanta got his third career start for Chicago and his first at home.
