Calgary Flames recall forwards Knight and Reinhart from AHL Abbotsford

CALGARY - The Calgary Flames recalled forwards Corban Knight and Max Reinhart from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.

Knight has 14 goals, 23 assists and 39 penalty minutes in 57 games with the Heat this season.

Reinhart has 45 points (17-28) and 28 penalty minutes in 51 games with the AHL club. He did not record a point in a four-game stint with the Flames last November.

The Flames announced later in the day that defenceman Derek Smith has been assigned to Abbotsford. He had one assist in 14 games with Calgary this season.
