Calle Jarnkrok Traded to Calgary Flames for Draft Picks
Calgary has added some scoring depth.
Forward Calle Jarnkrok was traded by the Seattle Kraken to the Calgary Flames in exchange for a 2022 second-round pick (formerly Florida's), a third-round pick in 2023 and a seventh in 2024.
The Kraken will also retain 50 percent of Jarnkrok's salary.
Jarnkrok has 12 goals and 26 points in 49 games this season. A former Nashville Predators forward, Jarnkrok has 237 points in 557 games and is currently in the final season of a six-year deal with an AAV of $2 million.
Of note, Jarnkrok is the cousin of Flames star Elias Lindholm, so it'll be a family reunion of sorts.
