Canadiens get Markov back from flu; Sabres' Numminen has sore foot

Markov, who missed games this week in New Jersey and Long Island with a flu, skated Friday with the team. Janne Niinimaa filled in on defence while Markov was out. The Sabres have two veterans ailing, but there was no word Friday on whether they would have to sit out.

Veteran defenceman Teppo Numminen injured a foot while blocking a shot against Florida on Thursday night, while centre Chris Drury is battling a flu.
