Canucks look to take advantage of slumping Stars

Dallas (16-16-5) at Vancouver (21-15-6) 10:00 p.m. EST

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The Vancouver Canucks

may be coming off a loss, but at least they're comfortably over

.500.

The Canucks will be looking to bounce back from a shootout loss

when they host the Dallas Stars on Sunday.

Daniel and Henrik Sedin combined for three goals on Friday but

Daniel was stopped on the final shootout chance as Vancouver

fell at Atlanta, 4-3. With Roberto Luongo still out with a

strained groin, Jason LaBarbera got the start against the

Thrashers and made 34 saves.

The Sedin brothers form one of the most dynamic offensive duos

in the league. Daniel leads the team with 41 points - 19 goals

- while Henrik ranks second at 37 points - seven goals.

The Stars have yet to put more than two wins in a row this

season and have slumped to the third-worst record in the Western

Conference after reaching the playoffs in every season since

2002-03.

Dallas dropped a 4-1 decision at Edmonton on Saturday as

netminder Marty Turco allowed all four goals on 19 shots. Turco

has a goals-against average of 3.19 this season - the highest

mark of his career.
