Capitals recall defenceman Tyler Sloan from AHL for Rangers game

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Washington Capitals recalled defenceman Tyler Sloan from Hershey of the AHL ahead of Saturday night's game against the New York Rangers.

This is Sloan's second recall of the season. He played four games with the Capitals last month, making his NHL debut on Oct. 21 against Calgary.

The Capitals needed an extra defencemen after Shaone Morrisonn injured a groin in Thursday night's win over Carolina.
