Capitals recall LW Chris Bourque, son of Hall of Fame member Ray Bourque

ARLINGTON, Va. - The Washington Capitals recalled winger Chris Bourque from Hershey of the AHL before Tuesday night's game against the Atlanta Thrashers.

Bourque, the son of NHL Hall of Fame member Ray Bourque, was a second-round draft pick in 2004 out of Boston University.

He has three goals and two assists in eight games for Hershey this season, after finishing with 25 goals and 33 assists in 2006-07.

The Capitals were shut out for the second time in three games in a 5-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.

Bourque has yet to play an NHL game.
