Caps more than just Ovie

Nolan Guilfoyle, Rocky Mountain House, Alta.

I like in the March 1st issue of The Hockey News that someone finally recognized the other talented players for the Washington Capitals.

Alex Ovechkin is my favorite hockey player, but you have to notice he's not the one who makes this team special; there is alot of talented young players on the team.

For example, Nicklas Backstrom and Alexander Semin. Backstrom has a team-leading 50 assists and is one of the main reasons Ovechkin gets his goals.

Semin also has a big presence on the team with 30 goals and 35 assists.

And don't forget the guys like Mike Green, Brooks Laich, Jason Chimera, Mike Knuble and Tomas Fleischmann. Also don't forget their goaltending, which is keeping them on top.

Those kind of guys keep the team together; its not all just one guy who wins the game, it's the whole team that wins games.

So, thanks to The Hockey News for writing an article on this subject.
