Carey Price deserves better treatment

Rick Thalheimer, Prince Albert, Sask.

In Montreal's recent 2-1 loss to Carolina, Carey Price played exceptional, earning third star honors.

He kept his team in the game, yet the majority of fans at the Bell Centre booed the guy! I've heard of teams being booed, but individuals being booed for getting a star? C'mon, man!

This guy was supposed to be the next Patrick Roy and I'm sure if he gets hot they'll be saying that again in Montreal. With the way he's been treated by the fans there, I would not blame him if he left after his contract is done or even demanded a trade.

Keep it up Carey, you'd be welcomed with open arms in an Oiler uniform anyday.
