Changing face of Chelios

John Pritchard, Toronto

It’s nice to see Chris Chelios still playing. I have to think with all the injuries on teams in the NHL it is just a matter of time before he is back playing in the best league on the planet.

I bet there are a ton of goalies who would want him clearing the front of the net for them. He can still play and would be a great mentor for some of the young defensemen in the league.

It is very weird to see Chelios wearing a visor and playing in the American League. Could they not grandfather the rule for the grandfather himself?
