Chicago Blackhawks agree to one-year deal with forward Brandon Segal

CHICAGO - The Chicago Blackhawks and right wing Brandon Segal agreed on a one-year contract Thursday.

The 28-year-old Segal had five goals, 10 points and 41 penalty minutes in 46 games with the Dallas Stars last season.

He has 22 points (11 goals, 11 assists) and 79 penalty minutes in 92 games over parts of four seasons with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings and Stars.
