Chicago Blackhawks sign free-agent centre Yanic Perreault to one-year deal

The 36-year-old had 38 points (21-17) in 66 games last season with Phoenix and Toronto.

"Perreault is a veteran forward who brings with him a lot of skill and point production," said Blackhawks GM Dale Tallon. "He is one of the best face-off men in the league and will definitely help us on our special teams - especially the power play."
