Chris Minard scores two goals, two assists as Penguins beat Marlies 5-2

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Chris Minard scored twice and added two assists and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins had three third period goals to surge past the Toronto Marlies 5-2 in AHL action Saturday.

Miroslav Satan, Nick Johnson and Connor James also scored for the Penguins, who improved to 45-24-2-2.

Jeremy Williams and Stefano Giliati scored for the Marlies, who dropped to 36-29-3-6.

Penguins goaltender John Curry made 26 saves for the win, while at the other end James Reimer stopped 35 shots.
