Class act move by Marc Savard

My 10-year-old son and I live in Ottawa, but we are Boston Bruins fans.

We attend every game in Ottawa between the Sens and Bruins. At the game on Sat. Oct. 18th, Marc Savard was chosen as second star and when he skated out he noticed my son standing by the glass. He came over, motioned to him and flipped his stick to him.

I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled he was, and me too!

My son said, "Dad, I'll cherish this the rest of my life".

I know I’m not the first person to write in regarding this, but I just wanted to thank Marc and also the NHL for continuing to recognize the impact they have on kids.

My son could hardly wait for hockey practice the next morning to tell his friends.
