Clemmensen makes 36 saves as Marlies hold on for win over Griffins

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Scott Clemmensen made 36 saves as the Toronto Marlies edged the Grand Rapids Griffins 5-4 in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Robbie Earl, John Mitchell, Kris Newbury, Simon Gamache and Ben Ondrus scored for the Marlies (9-0-0-2).

Carl Corazzini, Ryan Oulahen, Johan Ryno and Garrett Stafford replied for the Griffins (5-6-0-1).

Jimmy Howard made 21 saves for Grand Rapids.
