    WINNIPEG - Cody Hodgson's second-period goal held up as the winner as the Manitoba Moose beat the Rochester Americans 3-2 in American Hockey League play Friday.

    Hodgson scored at 17:32, and Moose goaltender Eddie Lack shut the door in the third to secure the win.

    Kevin Clark and Jeff Tambellini also scored for Manitoba (8-5-1).

    Michael Caruso and A.J. Jenks added one each for the Americans (8-7-1).

    Lack finished with 21 saves, while at the other end Rochester goalie Tyler Plante held off 42 shots.
