Colin Murphy nets overtime winner as Marlies edge Bulldogs 3-2

HAMILTON - Colin Murphy scored at 3:51 in overtime to lift Toronto over the Hamilton Bulldogs Friday to give the Marlies a 3-2 victory in AHL action.

Kyle Chipchura opened the scoring for Hamilton with a short-handed marker in the second.

Bryan Muir evened it for Toronto early in the third period for his second of the year.

Daniel Corso pulled the Bulldogs ahead on the power play, but Jaime Sifers tied it with just over a minute left in regulation.

Cedrick Desjardins made 40 saves for Hamilton (31-29-3-5), while Justin Pogge stopped 28 of 30 for the Marlies (42-18-3-5).
