Colorado Avalanche recall Darcy Campbell from American Hockey League

DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche recalled defenceman Darcy Campbell from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League on Thursday, and placed defenceman John-Michael Liles on injured reserve because of a wrist injury.

The Avalanche acquired Campbell from Columbus in January 2008.

The 24-year-old Campbell has played one NHL game, making his debut for the Blue Jackets on March 30, 2007, at Chicago.
