Columbus Blue Jackets activate left-winger Jason Chimera off injured reserve

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets activated forward Jason Chimera off injured reserve Tuesday after he missed 16 games with a groin injury.

Entering Tuesday night's game against Detroit, the 29-year-old Chimera has 18 points (7-11) in 31 games this season.

The Edmonton native has recorded 151 points (72-79) and 408 penalty minutes in 404 career NHL games.
