Columbus Blue Jackets place left-winger Ethan Moreau on injured reserve

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets placed left-winger Ethan Moreau on the injured reserve list Thursday.

Moreau, 35, is out indefinitely after suffering a broken hand in Wednesday night's 3-1 victory over Anaheim.

He has one goal and one assist in five games this season.

Moreau has 279 points (146-133) and 1,074 penalty minutes in 868 career NHL games with Columbus, Edmonton and Chicago.
