I really enjoyed reading this feature by Peter Baugh of The Athletic about the chimpanzees that appeared in MVP: Most Valuable Primate (2000) and MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate (2001).
One of the chimpanzees, Louie, apparently makes kissing noises at his primary trainer, which he learned from being with humans. Yikes.
