    They shouldn't (and won't) this year in my opinion, but THN has had content looking at both possibilities. But he clearly seems happy in Calgary, and the Flames need him right now. If the Flames are still outside the playoff picture in 2027-28 or 2028-29, they may then consider a move, depending on whether they've developed or found a new No. 1 center. Kadri has a 13-team no-trade list by that point instead of a full no-movement clause.
